A tale of love, threads, and one very stylish French Bulldog

The Beginning

It started with a stitch
and a very good boy

It all started when Emma was sewing a delicate bow for her French Bulldog, Hector. What began as a quick DIY project to freshen up his wardrobe quickly became a passion. Every evening, she found herself drawn back to her needle and thread, experimenting with new fabrics, colors, and designs — each piece more beautiful than the last.

Friends started asking where Hector's accessories came from. "Can you make one for my pup?" became the frequent question. That's when Emma realized what she'd stumbled upon: not just a hobby, but her calling.

Each piece is lovingly hand-sewn, one stitch at a time.

Now, from our studio in the UK, we create one-of-a-kind pieces for dogs everywhere. Every bow, every blossom, every bandana is unique — because just like your pup, they deserve something truly special.

The Inspiration

Meet Hector

Hector is a French Bulldog with a permanent tracheostomy and a heart bigger than he is. Life hasn't always been easy for him, but you'd never know it. He's faced more than most dogs ever will, and come out the other side with nothing but love to show for it. These days, he's thriving. Happier and healthier than he's ever been, and determined to make sure everyone around him knows it.

He greets everyone like they're his favourite person, struts through markets like he owns the place, and has never met a fuss he didn't lean into. He's the reason Hector's Threads exists. Every piece we make carries a little bit of his spirit: resilient, joyful, and completely himself. If a little French Bulldog with a tracheostomy can face the world with that much confidence, the least we can do is make sure every pup looks their best while doing the same.
